The Itsekiri Parliament (TIP) earlier today commissioned a borehole project at the market road axis near Pessu Market, Warri.
The pro-Iwere Development platform which parades Itsekiris from all parts of the world and class came to the rescue of the people of market road on the 25th of June 2020 after seeing a viral video of a teenage girl scooping water from a broken pipe.
This medium gathered from Residents that they had been scooping water from the broken pipe for about fourteen years before The Itsekiri Parliament came to their succor.
At the commissioning, the chairman of the ceremony, Chief Ariyo Robinson described the TIP gesture as one of the best selfless services he has seen demonstrated by a group of people coming together to put smile on the faces of the downtrodden.
The residents of the area prayed for the social media advocacy group and called on well-meaning Itsekiris and residents of Warri to emulate the group.
Also at the event were prominent members of the group such as Mr. Emma Shola Abigor and Comrade Monoyo Edon, an administrator of the group.
