Edremoda Stephen Bags Prestigious Award from NAIG Asaba Chapter




ASABA — In recognition of his outstanding contributions, dedication, and impactful service to the community, Edremoda Stephen has been honoured with a prestigious award by the National Association of Itsekiri Graduates (NAIG), Asaba Chapter.


The award was presented during a ceremony held in Asaba, Delta State, that brought together association executives, key stakeholders, and community leaders. It was formally conferred on Edremoda Stephen by the Chairman of the NAIG Asaba Chapter, Comrade Victor Etchie, in his office. He was joined by the Chapter Secretary, Eyituoyo Ogholaja, and other executive members of the association.


Edremoda Stephen is a registered Estate Surveyor and Valuer (ESV) and a staff of the Delta State Government. He is also known as a writer and preacher. Over the years, he has contributed insightful articles on real estate, urban renewal, property taxation, housing digitization, and related development issues, sharing professional perspectives that promote better understanding of the built environment and sustainable urban growth.



Within Itsekiri circles in Asaba and beyond, he is regarded as a dedicated community-minded professional whose consistent support for youth empowerment, association activities, and grassroots development initiatives has earned him the respect of peers and leaders. His contributions have helped strengthen the chapter’s programmes and foster a culture of service and collective progress among members.


Speaking at the presentation, Chairman Victor Etchie commended Edremoda Stephen for his selfless service, exemplary leadership, and continuous support for the growth and development of the association as well as the wider community. He noted that the recognition reflects Stephen’s unwavering commitment to excellence and capacity building among Itsekiri graduates and youths.


In his acceptance remarks, Edremoda Stephen expressed deep gratitude to Chairman Victor Etchie, Secretary Eyituoyo Raymond Ogholaja, and the entire leadership and membership of the NAIG Asaba Chapter for finding him worthy of the honour. He pledged to remain committed to supporting youth empowerment, community advancement, and the lofty goals of the association.


The ceremony concluded with goodwill messages from those present, strategic discussions on future initiatives of the chapter, and group photographs with executive members.
