Rev. Lawrence O. Agbirekomi, on Sunday morning of 12th April 2026, delivered a life-changing prophetic message titled: “From Nonentities To Entities By The Power Of Resurrection,” taken from Philippians 3:10.
Based on biblical teachings from Proverbs 18:21 and John 6:63, the senior pastor of Gihon City Bible Church highlighted the importance of utilizing words positively to effect transformation in one’s life. While asserting that words possess spiritual potency, he declared that, “Words are spirit and they can impact life. Therefore, you must not misuse your words, and you should always be careful of the things you say about yourself.”
The man of God further emphasized that the power of resurrection empowers individuals to harness the potency of their words, speaking life into their existence. It is essential to be mindful of the words one speaks over one’s life and destiny.
He also reiterated that the power of resurrection validates the assertion that God will fulfill all His promises concerning us, as stated in 2 Corinthians 1:20. It is a decisive element and a clear indication that God’s promises are dependable and will never fail.
He further pointed out that the power of resurrection showcases God’s mighty strength and attests that He is the one and only true God, whose declarations stand firm against the devil’s falsehoods.
He also noted that the power of resurrection is a testament to God’s ability to transform individuals from obscurity to prominence, elevating them from insignificance to greatness.
He concluded by encouraging congregants to remain dedicated to advancing the Kingdom of God, noting that their individual destinies would be fulfilled through this dedication.
