Archbishop Dr. Victor Ejuvwevwo Arikoro (JP) is called and anointed by God to preach, teach and deliver souls bound by the devil. His early life and subsequent spiritual rebirth testify to the saving grace of God to turn around the life of anyone He calls. It further demonstrates that no matter how disobedient and wayward a man might be, God can still call, cleanse and use him for greater works.
Although the Archbishop was born of Christian parents and participated in church activities from an early age, he was at same time stubborn, wayward, disobedient to parents and involved in social vices such as gambling, stealing, fornication and smoking of hemp.
In 1961, the Archbishop stole away from home to Lagos, having duped his father of substantial sum of money. While there, he encountered the Lord and gave his life to Christ at the Foursquare Gospel Church, Lagos. Sequel to his new experience, he decided without looking back to answer the call of God. He enrolled as a full-time resident student of L.I.F.E. Bible College of the Foursquare Gospel Mission Inc. Ikorodu, Lagos (1962 – 1963) and in furtherance of his pastoral training graduated from the West African Bible College, Yaba, Lagos in 1964.
On his return from Lagos, he was engaged in the ministry of the African Church, where he was ordained an Evangelist and led the African Church Preaching Society (A.C.P.S) and African Church Prayer Meeting (Edo/Delta) Division. The Archbishop's activities were not restricted to the African Church as he was involved in interdenominational crusades and evangelism. His passion for the Word of God brought about his establishing of "Search the Scriptures," a ministry that encourages thorough and constant feeding on the Word of God.
Following several trials and persecutions from avowed persons to frustrate his ministry in the African Church coupled with the crisis that rocked the church at that time, Archbishop Dr. Victor E. Arikoro (JP) by divine leading established the Pentecostal African Church on 9th May 1990, having been ordained/licensed by Rev. Don Crum assisted by Rev. Nathan Madeyi, consecrated Bishop in 1994 and enthroned Archbishop in 2014. The ministry which had its 1st Sunday service on 13th May 1990 now has several branches across Delta, Rivers and Bayelsa States of Nigeria.
Archbishop Dr. V. E. Arikoro (JP) is a member of several ecclesiastical bodies, which include International Communion of Charismatic Churches (ICCC), Renaissance College of Bishops and Pentecostal College of Bishops amongst others.
Archbishop Dr. Victor E. Arikoro, the Founder/General Overseer of PAC, is a conference speaker/teacher and director of studies, Maranatha Bible College - the training arm of Pentecostal African Church.
