 Sheriff Oborevwori, A Man With Responsive And Pragmatic Instincts

A chieftain of PDP from Ozoro Ward 3, Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, Barr. Sylvester Imonina had described Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori, the Governorship Candidate of PDP in Delta State as a man of responsive and pragmatic instincts. Barr. Imonina made the statement during an interactive session with some PDP faithful and extended members of his family from Urude and Oruamudhu Communities, Ozoro Kingdom.

According to Imonina, Rt. Hon. Oborevwori is the type of person Deltans are longing for as the Governor of the State, come 2023, because of his responsiveness and pragmatism in handling issues that are of great interest to those who work with him and/or come in contact with him. He further described Oborevwori as an embodiment of simplicity, accessibility, humanity, and a man with excessive street credibility.

To further buttress his position, Barr. Imonina referred his people to recent actions and activities of Chief Sheriff Oborevwori. In his words, "when the recent flood was raging, Chief Sheriff Oborevwori promptly visited the Internally Displaced Persons in different camps all over the State. As a matter of fact, amongst those interested in the governorship of the State, Chief Oborevwori was the first to extend a hand of fellowship and displayed uncommon fatherly care to our mothers, fathers, brothers, and sisters in distress. Oborevwori did not visit them for the sake of visiting, he displayed limitless commitments to them as the compassionate leader that he is, by making available necessaries to them to cushion the effects of the flood. 

Oborevwori also used his influence with different Government bodies/agencies and spirited persons to bring succour to our people.

Also, because Sheriff Oborevwori desires to know more about the problems of the grassroots (Wards and Units) in the State, he and Delta PDP Campaign Committees are presently visiting and campaigning from Ward-to-Ward. And from reports coming from the fields, Chief Oborevwori is better equipped with information on the peculiar needs of those visited so far, and he is ready to deliver on the promises made to the people.

While other supposed Gubernatorial candidates are still in political wilderness, thinking of how to deceive Deltans and manipulate the system, Chief Sheriff Oborevwori who believes in the power of the people is reaching out to the electorates/Deltans to support his Gubernatorial interest. That is the way to go by anyone genuinely interested in governing our dear State".

Barr. Imonina charges his people and Deltans alike to support Chief Sheriff Oborevwori and all PDP Candidates in the forthcoming 2023 elections, as the PDP-led Government means well for Deltans. Imonina further stated that available indicators show that other Gubernatorial Candidates are not thinking of service to Deltans but personal political aggrandizement.
